First, remove the battery, the CD-ROM drive and the hard disk, which is behind the top right panel
Next, all the screws marked in red need to be removed.
Followed by the ones on the back.
Next is the keyboard, which comes off easily after this strip is removed. This can simply be prised off using your fingernails.
Removing the keyboard gives access to five more screws. The keyboard was connected to the green connector, the ones marked in white must also be disconnected before removing the top completely.

That keyboard connector, and the smaller one for the 'mouse' buttons need to be 'released' before pulling out the flat cable.
